Can I set this up on the temp url that PowWeb provides before I transfer the nameservers?Some scripts you can and some you can't. Even if you can you will need to make tons of changes when the perm name kicks in.

Is it worth it to wait a couple of days ... ;)

You could, with osCommerce, but I agree that you're better off to wait for propagation.
