View Full Version : Avatar after 50 posts?

Hi,

I know have 50 posts but still cannot set an avatar as it stills states I need at least 50 posts for this.
Do I need to post more? wait a day? is this normal?

:confused: You should be able to when you hit 50 post. What is it saying when you try?

I found that it was only after having 51 posts that I was able to add an avatar. This is probably your problem, try it again now :)

Maybe you have to leave the page and come back in order for the posts to be counted. Well, you got 51 posts now, so try it.

Hmm, that is set to "Greater than or equal to 50 posts," so I'm not sure why you have to get to 51.

Perhaps you need to logout and login or close the window, then revisit the forum to get an avatar at 50 posts. If it works at 51, then you can simply change the number to 49 to make it work for 50. ;)

Thanks it now works!
I have tried on another computer, dunno if it is because I hit 51 posts or if it is because I am using a new computer.

When I tried at 50 I was tried both on Explorer and Firefox.
Bugs.

Well actually you are right, my nickname "bugs" come from bugs bunny...
But my website highlight the fact that I like astronomy and I am a frog, sorry French! :)

I just looked at astrofrog and see that you are already a prince. The frog pic must be an older pic of you! ;)

Thanks for the compliment...
However the photo on Astrofrog is actually an old photo, someone kissed me since then and I turned into a frog! My avatar photo is how I look now ;)

Ryan, try clearing your temporary Internet files and cookies. If you make a fresh login, the forum may update your number of posts to the current number. It may be using the last count at last login.

I took photos of one eating food on my front porch. It is funny to see that pic since it was taken before we built a 15 ft by 15 ft porch last year. Now the critters hide under our porch for shelter. How thoughtful of us! ;)
