MS Storefront e-commerce w/powweb??

I would like to set up a small e-commerce site (100-200 sku's). The problem is that I have MS Frontpage with MS Storefront. Storefront only supports MS Access or MS SQL databases. Powweb only supports MySQL. Is there any way to make this work, or do I have to find another host that supports the proper database?

Hi. You must be using MS BCentral for your store then? You may have to switch to a different cart system to utilize the PowWeb hosting if that's the case. I'm not certain as to what types of databases they support but the Bcentral cart system is hosted on NT servers which is an entirely different platform.

What you might consider is installing a shopping cart system that allows the importing of your database from Access. That way you won't need MySQL or other type of database to run it.

There's plenty of shopping carts available but you'll need a merchant account with someone like Authorize.net to process your credit card transactions.
