Can't tell what customer ordered if they used Paypal

My site is set up to use Paypal for processing payments. However, when a payment is made through Paypal, both the email I receive and the transaction details on Paypal say the wrong thing in the Item Title field. It says the name of my company, Replacement Radios, instead of the name of the item, Ford am/fm/cd, (for example.) This presents a problem in situations where the customer does not 'Return to Merchant' after the purchase because the Customer Order table is not getting populated. I must go into myphpadmin and look at the Customer's basket to find out what they've ordered. This is obviously less than ideal. How do I go about getting the correct item title indicated with the Paypal payment? Is it something being passed wrong in the URL?
