Does anyone know of a simple, free email client that I can use to view what's on a pop3 server without downloading it and then delete some items. Wow, that sounds nefarious doesn't it. Where we work, we use GoldMine CRM and we use it's email client which is less than ideal. Frequently someone gets an email in their box that GoldMine can't bring in. This last one was on in the presidents mailbox and it crashed GoldMine whenever he clicked on it. So anyway, it's usually just some spam and I have to get into the exchange server and delte it. Which means either going to their machine and configuring outlook and deleting it or shuting everythign down on my machine, logging out and then logging back in as them and configuring outlook. It would be nice to just have some app that lets me see what's on the pop server and selectively delete items. GoldMine is actually the only package I have see that does this. You can actually click on different emails and say, donwload this, delete that, but when it's the problem I need something else.

Thanks,

One that you can install on your computer is POPTray, http://www.poptray.org/ It can be setup to check several email accounts, allows you to view a portion of any email / header, delete mail from the server, has filters (rules) that you can set to auto delete spam and will even launch your email program for you. (and it's free)

Did you say FREE!?

I downloaded it and it looks like it will do exactly what I wanted it to. Thanks for the quick reply.
