I've installed and uninstalled vBulletin (last night and today) a few times on my server at the following location: http://www.twistaunleashed.com/mobstaz/forums/. I reinstalled again, and all of the sudden, it doesn't work. When you go to the URL above, you only see a white screen. If you go to http://www.twistaunleashed.com/mobstaz/index.htm it will work so there must be something wrong with the database. Whenever I went into my phpadmin to drop the tables (when I was uninstalling vBulletin), it was going extremly slow. And vBulletin installed itself very slowly...

BTW, my other forum (which is hosted here -- http://www.twistaunleashed.com/forums -- is working fine, seems a little bit slow too though).

Can someone help me out?

Do I need to post any more info?

Sorry if this is a little unclear, I had to write this in a hurry.

Thanks,

Alex Johnson

Well I just installed vBulletin on a different database and it went very fast. However, when I tried to go here -- http://www.twistaunleashed.com/mobstaz/forums/index.php -- the screen went blank.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Alex

Any suggestions?

I'd suggest you delete all three databases, and all three installs, and go back and install one fresh one using whatever database you have setup in Member Ops. All you're doing is confusing the install by creating multiple instances of it.

Get rid of any .htaccess you have in those subdirectories until you have a working install too.

I'm having this problem as well. Upgraded to 3.0.8 and my forum went blank, DB is intact.
