View Full Version : Backups in Control panel
The MySql backups in the control panel have a ton of errors in them and are not even funtionable when trying to upload them to a new database.. There's an error every 5 or 10 lines in the code.. Its completely useless.. And PHPmyadmin doesnt prompt me to save anything whenever I attempt to create a backup there.
I dont think anyone can help with this situation, but someone should at least know that this is happening.. Its crap.. Complete crap.. I have a forum with over 300 members and over 40,000 posts.. A lot of hard work.. And now I cant get any of those posts or members back..

There's an error every 5 or 10 lines in the code.. Its completely useless.. Unless you quote a few sample error messages, it's impossible to tell what the problem could be. Don't just rant ...
The point of the post was to let the staff know this is a problem. No one from the support ticket team will answer, so I figured I'd try a different route. Im not asking for help. There are far too many errors to post.. Even if I post a few, there are going to be more errors of a different nature.
Im not asking for you to tell me what the problem is, because thats practically impossible for any of you to do..

This forum here is for users helping users.
I never suggested you should list all your error messages. But the first few are very often an indication what is going wrong. The community here has some very expierienced people waiting to give their advise. You may have to answer some additional questions, but it is very likely that this will get you back on your trip.
PS. did you note how many users seem to be having the same troubles of yours and complaining in the forum here ? NONE ! IOW is't very likely a problem specific to you and not of the Powweb service.
