View Full Version : User 'shopp' has exceeded the 'max_questions' resource (current value: 72000)
Guys,
For the last last days Im getting the error as below. Any idea why?
1226 - User 'shopp' has exceeded the 'max_questions' resource (current value: 72000)
select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration
The error message explains it - you've exceed the max number of questions allowed in 1hr.
The normal method to avoid this is to rotate the users that query the database.
Ian, thx for the prompt response. I saw once a script that is used to rotate a db user. I can't find it anymore. Would you please be so kind and and point me to that?
It's VERY unusual for an osCommerce shop to exceed this limit. Do you have something else that uses MySQL under that database username?
i have been having he same problem with my site for a while, i even issued some tickets.......with the only recommendation to install that piece of code you mentioned before in the post.
i know for sure that i am no reaching that number, and my db is only used by oscommerce. and it was very annoying bcause it always occured after updating around 3 products quantities.
if anyone can bring some light, i would really appreciate it
tahnks,
unai
