Hello,

Your account is all setup and ready to go. I had your package setup email forwarded to you again just in case you did not recieve it. You can upload files to your website now.

There is no email I cannot access anything and how and why did I get email sent from my domain, if it is my domain? Obviously someone has access to it.I sure don't.

There is no email I cannot access anything and how and why did I get email sent from my domain, if it is my domain? Obviously someone has access to it.I sure don't.The e-mail being referred to is sent to the address you gave when you registered, not the domain name you've registered.

Did you check before you registered the domain that it wasn't already registered?

You domain registration could easily have been harvested - the information becomes a public document available on the internet - and the domain name used to spoof an e-mail address.

I know the email address is the one I signed up with, I recieved notification via history folder when I was able to access it which I can no longer do, that said email was being sent to the addy. Now I keep typing it in the way it is listed, a combination of small letters and caps, they replied, putting the whole thing in caps, I do not know if that counts, but certainly they should.
All's I want is my money back and to close this account, seeing as I cannot access it.

You will have received notification to your e-mail address that you supplied when signing up AS WELL AS in history within OPS.

I don't know what it is that you keep typing in with a combo of upper and lower case - is that the password or the address?

If you're determined to get your money back (minus the cost of the domain if you got it for free) then you need to contact billing@powweb.com - their reply will be to the e-mail address you supplied, not to any account you have elsewhere.

My original post was much more detailed but apparently it was edited. I am not getting any email at the sign up email address.I gave. I have written 7 emails about it over the past 5 days, I have attempted to reset the password to access my ops 5 times, I have called support 5 times and stayed on the line over 12 minutes each time, noone came on the line. I have written and left my phone number, alternate email address, reexplained this to them in each letter I emailed and I have not heard a single reply since Thursday. The only thing I did recieve is an email to me from my domain that I cannot access.Clarification~The email came to my sign up address and to the alternate address that I included in one of the letters I sent to support, I cannot access my account.

Clarification~ lets say my sign up email address looks like this~Thisis293howitlooks~
the one time I recieved a reply to a ticket about not getting any email the reply was that it is working now, they wrote my email like this~THISIS293HOWITLOOKS I got the reply from the history folder, I never recieved it in my email. I have Never once recieved any email but they keep saying it was sent. There are no blocks or filters affecting mail from powweb I have made sure of that.
I do not know if the capitalization of the email address is the problem or if it does not matter

The problem might be with the 'email' address you gave upon sign-up.
As Andrew stated your account is all setup and ready to go. If you don't know how to use your account then this may help: http://support.powweb.com/index.php?category=Member+Operations

Cancellations must be done through OPS. Phone support for help to login there, have your credit card handy to veryify ID.

I know how to use my account, I cannot get to ops I keep getting 'invalid username or password' messages. I did not change either one. I have sent now 6 times to reset password. No reply. I am getting email from everyone else, including whoever emailed me from my domain. I have sent letters to support with a different emailaddress for them to reply, I have done this from my sign in address and a different one too. Each letter contains the one reply I got last week and my account confirmation info. Now I have done this from different addresses given alternate email addresses, given phonenumbers and have recieved absolutley no Reply. I would really like to know WHAT IS GOING ON

If you PM me verfiying the last four digits of the credit card on the account, I will be happy to reset your OPS password personally.

You don't say?

Wow. How nice of tbonekkt to finally jump-in via the public forum to try to resolve this.

Surely this isn't the normal experience a new PW customer has.

Hello,

Please give us a call at 1877-4-POWWEB and one of our reps can help you.
Is there an extension I can dial, I have not had too much luck getting through, once I an #1 in que It seems I'm stuck there. The callers go by quickly then I've waited at least 12 minutes on several occasions and finally gave up. If there was an extension it would be helpful.
Thanks
G~
