Download an FTP client (like SmartFTP), and use the log-in instructions given to you in an e-mail to connect (ftp0x.powweb.com, your name, your password, port 21). Then just drag and drop the files. Or you can log into sitemanager (yourdomain.com/+sitemanager) and you can upload files one at time with that.
Thanx,
I tried to upload on myside.com/+sitemanager but I don't know what to do there. If I just browse the files and click on load it won't do it (seems to).
Downloaded smartftp, but what would be the destination etc.?
I think I forgot to tell that I'm a bloody beginner with uploading pages!
Is there a tut or something with explizit explanations how to upload a file/homepage?
I've read somewhere before, that the frameset file has to have a special name too to be accepted as main page??
Please help...
Thank you,
Vanessa
oh yes, and when I get to my URL (under construction page), and click on "Uploading files with FTP" it says that the site can not be found.

To setup the FTP client, see this: http://help.powweb.com/tutorials/ and look in the ftp section.
Once you connect...its not so bad. ;) Just make sure you upload to the htdocs folder (thats where all your web-accessible items go).
Thanks, that already helped me a lot.
1.I uploaded the files to htdocs. And now what?
2.When I go to www.mysite.com it only shows me a box "Autorization Request" and "Connect to www.mysite.com" with Username and Password. But my Password/Username is not accepted?? What would be the password?
And now?

What are you uploading??
It seems like you may be uploading a .htaccess file that requires password protection. If so, delete that temporarily to see if you can get through.
It says under .htaccess that I don't have a password.
This is the error message that comes trying to access my site:
This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.

If you have a .htaccess, temporarily remove that.
What program did you use to create your site? Since it seems like thats the problem. A setting may need to be changed somewhere so its not password protected.
I did the site with pure html in my notepad.
How do I veryfy my master fdp account??? What would be the password????

How do I veryfy my master fdp account??? What would be the password????It would be the password "you" assigned when you signed up for service. You can reset your FTP password in OPS. Give it a half hour or so to update.
Thank you very all much, I got it now :D !
