Help! Very confused on Securing OsEcommerce

I am trying to finish setting up the OsEcommerce with the tutorial and I am now at securing it. Sorry but I am confused as to how to delet the folder/install. Do I do this in the admin part of OsEcommerse, or do I find it in powweb ops? I have tried looking for the folder and I don't even know how to get to it. This is my first time setting up anything like this and I am really a novice. Thanks for the help.


I have found the file manager in OsEcommerce. Is this the install folder I should delete?



I am also wandering if I am only going to use Pay Pal, checks and money orders on my site, would it be better to use Pay Pal's cart instead. Any opinions welcomed. :)

I usally do it with an ftp program, but you should be able to do it within file manager, but you may need to delete the documents within the folder first. As for paypal, I use osC's cart, but if you do there is a fix needed for it to work properly and that fix can be found at the osC web site.

Thank you. Am I deleting the file in "osCommerce/catalog/install"... just the install part I delete? I also see the area where I can delete the contents off to the right but I dont' see how to delete the folder intitled install on the left. I understand I need to delete the install folder as well.
