I have already built a site with content and items on it. If I use OScommerce for my shopping cart will my site look the same? Or will it look like the page I got when I installed OScommerce? This may be a really stupid question, so sorry.

It depends on how much customizing you want to get into. There is a template contribution somewhere on the site, but I'm not sure how extensive it is or how easy.
Your site might look like osCommerce, but this is a site I'm working on that is also osCommerce. http://www.lokiherp.com.
It all depends.
Indeed - the less you want it to look like the stock osCommerce design, the more work you have to put into it. There are indeed template contributions, but they can be hard to use and complicate use with other contributions.
I suppose it depends on how comfortable you are coding in PHP and how much effort you're willing to sink into it. If you just have a few items, you might be better off with something like the PayPal shopping cart.

Thnak you. :) Well I don't have tones of time and I don't think my client wants to spend a lot of time on it yet. So I am thinking paypal shopping cart may be my best bet.
I have already installed the OSCommerce so what do I do if I decide to just use pay pal. Do I use pay pal cart through OScommerce or do I need to get rid of the OScommerce since I haven't secured it yet.
The PayPal shopping cart doesn't use osCommerce - it's just special code you add to your existing pages. osCommerce does support PayPal, but you won't be using it. Just delete the osCommerce folder from your site and you're done.

Thanks Steve. Can I use dreamweaver to delete the file or do I need to get something like filezilla?
I think Dreamweaver in Remote File view will do it. Never tried that. I use SmartFTP for big FTP operations, or you can even do it in MSIE.
