Hello!
I have been messing around with this site for a little while and wanted to make sure all my ducks were lined up before I started letting everyone know it even existed. I am pretty much self taught as far as web design and coding go, so I would appreciate any input.

I think the framework of the site is done. All that is left to do is add more content. I'm thinking the forum will be the busiest place there with articles/tutorials next. I am hoping this site will become a useful resource and want to keep it as simple as possible.

Thanks in advance for any ideas and suggestions!

I just visited your site. I'm not a webmaster by any means. However, from the average surfer's perspective, I'll give an opinion. I registered and entered the forum area. It's a little of a stain to read the posts. I was going to change from the silver but had no other options. Maybe if you lightened up the area or added at least a white backgroud in the forum area. The only other thing you might consider is adding a photo critique area.
I like the site. I'll be visiting and posting.

Thank you for the reply man! Thanks for joining the site. I hope you find it to be a useful resource.

I really appreciate your input. I lightened the forum a little. I didn't go with an all white background but lightened it some. I wanted to stick to a similar color scheme overall with the site but I can understand where you are coming from. I hope it is easier to read now. Please let me know if it's not. I still have to jump into Photoshop and adjust the borders but I should have that done by the weekend.

My problem is that I don't get much input and think things are fine. That's why I really like this forum. Knowledgeable folks and good tips.

Thanks again man!

Why do you have some pages with a dark black background and others with a grey background?

Thanks for looking man! I am in the process of getting the rest of the pages to match. I sorta liked the dark home page but just adjusted the color of the forum and am messing with the css to get the other pages to work.
