Me and my mate are having some trouble deciding which layout to use for our site, we have been using nuke sucessfully now for only 20 days and have already built up a membership database of 150 users, but we think it cud be time to ditch nuke for a fresher design while sacrificing some of the functionality

heres out current site: http://www.mariazone.com

and our new design: http://test.mariazone.com

which do you prefer? any comments/critisisms appreciated

Both look nice. PHP Nuke in general is always pretty clean and well laid out. However, the old version has a lack of color. The new version stands out well in terms of appearance, and is also very nice looking. I say go with the new version. Although it doesn't stretch to 100% of the screen, it's a lot fresher looking and it seems the only functionality you're missing is the "user information" box which is, in my opinion, irrelevant and therefore expendable.

I'd go with the new one...the colors work well to organize the different areas of the page.
The Page on the new one is relatively short and sweet which I am a fan of on an index page. Just a quick how ya doin' with links to branch out.
The blue around the search function don't quite line up but I doubt many would notice. I'm more of a graphic designer than anything so I notice stuff like that.
