I have horizontal scrolling on 1024x768 resolution...try to keep it down to 600x800 if you can.

Like you said, the video is a load on a slow connection.

Other than that, not much color to the site.

Layout looks pertty good except for the size.

You might want to take a look at your site using FireFox. With FireFox on an 800x600 resolution monitor the left sidebar totally fills the screen, leaving all of the center content and right sidebar out of the viewing area.

You don't have to make everything fit an 800x600 monitor, but it would be wise to make sure that the site is cross browser compatible.
