You could FTP them to a server. And give them FTP access to that server.

Check your Google Page Rank (http://mailuno.com/pagerank.htm).

Right. Who's server? Is this something I need to set up? I don't have a website up at the moment. Do I need one to do this?
Thanks

Define "large" how large? Google Gmail has free 1Gb mailboxes.
What sort of files? text compresses well in zip files.

They are 16 and 24 bit audio files, as well as quicktime movies. 1GB should handle it pretty well most times.
I have a 512 line, not screaming but not too bad.
Thanks for the help.

Audio files will zip quite well, a 1000Mb file will compress to between 600-400Mb. Movie files would be a bit larger around 800Mb Just make sure your colleagues can unzip at the other end. Windows XP is adequate at zipping unzipping files.
You could FTP upload the files to your server space here at Powweb (if you have a package account here) using a program like FileZilla. For example: You make a folder in htdocs called downloads. Then upload the audio.wma or .zip file into this downloads folder. Then just tell them to goto www.your-domain.com/downloads/ and right-click on the file and choose Save As. Additionaly you can give them FTP (FileZilla) access allowing them to download and upload files by creating an FTP user for them in OPS restricting them to the downloads folder. Just be very careful who you give FTP access to because they can do nasty things.
Google Gmail would be the simplest way.
