I can't ge to my site by ip number

Any idea why i can't get to my site directly by it's ip number? I'm using the ip number found in the DNS section of the ops area.

You're getting the 'name' page of the server that your files are on, right? As in: servername.powweb.com?

Your site isn't the only one on the server, and without dedicated IPs (which cost significantly more, in most cases), 'your IP' is actually the server's IP.

In other words...you are sharing the IP address with other thousands users. This is virtual hosting and you do not have a fixed IP address
