Losing connection with Mysql server

Hi guys,

already sent a ticket but wanted to check whether anyone is having the same problem...

All of a sudden all my scripts, especially my Mailer, which use MYSQL are losing conection only after a couple of seconds, in mid process. Normally they work fine, but now it seems that the MYsql connection is slowing so much that is it effecting my scripts.

Anyone the same? Thanks

Both of the mySQL servers which you are on [07 and 08] are working normally at the moment. What's the location of the scripts you are trying to run?

When I post an announcement post, which sends a notification of the all users (only around 400) it times out while sending the message.

Also I have a script which send emails to my mailing list, it times out even when sending to a group of only 40 subscribers. I used to send to 4 groups at one go is to over 160 email addresses!

This is the worst problem as my newsletter is being received by some and cannot resend as then some others would have received it twice!

Then could it be that the mail server is slowing down causing this mysql connection loss?

At 10:00 am Powweb's time the MYSQL server speed is disastrous... I am getting server timeout all the time.

Whilst at 22:00 Powweb's time I have no problems. This certainly means that server traffic is causing this!

Please Powweb look into this as I am going crazy...cannot send my newsletters even to a query which extracts only 6 addresses!!
