lots of mysql errors

Im on cluster four, they started yesterday with those DOS attacks or whatever they are called. They are random, but Im getting more and more of them as time goes by.

Is this due to the DOS problem? Is it going to stop? Its very annoying.

If you indicate the type of error and the exact error message, it would help identify the problem. Mysql have their own server and should not be on cluster04 even if your website is in that cluster

I am getting them intermittantly. not sure why:

I'm also having problems. My site's frontpage connects to mysql02, but the PHP code for it suddenly stopped working last night (the code is constructed to die() if the mySQL connection fails, and that's where it's stopping). Until it's fixed, my site's frontpage is practically blank.

Considering I haven't touched that page's PHP code in several months, nor changed my mySQL information/username/login, I doubt it's the code.
