hey all
i have a cartoon which was done for me and saved as an eps. i hvae adobe illustraor cs but have no idea how to use it.
basically with this cartoon there are about 3 minor tweaks i want to do (or have done) which i think must be bloody basic but i dont know how. the changes to be made are:

1. shrink it horizontally to 65%
2. insert some writing - two words(i think i can do this one)
3. colour fill some of the areas

if anyone has any quick tips on this it would be much appreciated!
cheers

I use Photoshop Cs but Illustrator is very similar.

1. Resize: goto Image> Image Size> untick 'Constrain Proportions'. Next to 'Height' select 'Percent' from the drop box. Type in 65

2. Text: Select the Text or Type tool from the toolbar. Place a starting point on the image. Type away. Highlight the text to alter the colour, size, font options. Click the Move tool and use keyboard arrows to position it where you want it.

3. Colour: Select the new colour you want and use the "Paint Bucket' tool to flood fill areas. Adjust the spread of the fill by adjusting the Tollerance and Anti-alaising options.

if you still need the art edited you can email it to me at inbox@boltgraphics.net. Been working on Illustrator since 1985, pre-release. Your edits would take me a few minutes.
