The site is WIP still, booking engine functionality is still a bit off and a range of known issues are stacking up to be fixed (also the site currently just includes test data for apartments) but I'd appreciate comments on layout, style, etc...

Suggestions for improvement welcome (this is my first site so be gentle!)

ps. the site is built on Joomla! CMS

Cheers !

Your copyright link needs a http:// inserted before the www. that way when you click on it, it won't go to http://www.banskoholidayrentals.com/www.banskoholidayrentals.com

The site is easy to read and navigate (for me) and is well organized. The logo art looks like a child drew it, but the text is okay. Orange next to yellow is not good for the color blind who cannot distinguish those colors. Red next to yellow or orange is not good, either. The links above the header may not be noticed by visitors. Consider putting them under the header.

There should be copyright information at the bottom of each page. The contact page should have the business name, address, phone number, email address and business (calling) hours. The contact page currently only has a form to request information. The FAQ has questions and no answers!

There is horizontal scrolling at 800x600 screen resolution. Okay, I just spotted the copyright info on the right side AFTER scrolling. Try centering the copyright text, especially if you do not adjust contents for smaller screen resolutions.

Overall, the site is nice for one of those CMS sites. Consider renaming your URLs to be search engine friendly. You can do that with php or .htaccess files.

Thanks for your comments..

Having re-evaluated the message I was trying to deliver with my site I decided the template wasn't right.

Take a look at the new design developed over this weekend...

www.banskoholidayrentals.com

This still has a 'child like' logo design - this is towards the end of my list of issues to resolve due to the complex programs behind the bookings engine and I still do not support 800x600.

Any comments on support for lower resolutions? I was assuming most people don't use such a low res anymore - am I wrong?

Thanks
