Cant login to script control panel

this is the second script i have uploaded/configured per directions and both times, i cannot login to the control panel. it comes up but when i put in the 'first time login' info it basically says invalid login info.
Any ideas? first time i thought script was to blame because it was downloaded free but this one i paid for and same thing.

What is the script called? vBulletin or what? And where is it located?
Check the user/pass info in your config file.
