https:// on sub-domains?

I've got a ton of sub-domains, and I just learned one of the applets I'm looking into requires a secure certificate. Unfortunately this is on a sub-domain, and the https:// address seems to only work for the main folder. Am I going to have to move this portion of the site?

Powweb's implementation of shared certificate works only with the main website of a domain, but not with any subdomains.
