Is there a way to change personal information to, say, a work address? I've been told my home address is easily visible and public to Internet users and I'd like this not to be a problem. Any suggestions?

if you want to change the personal information you used to register the domain, you have to do it where you got the domain from.

Some country domains (.uk) actually have confidentiality methods of there own.
I use registerfly as my registrar and use their service to hide my details on all of the domains I own. They currently charge US$0.99 for the service - a one off fee.

Comforting, but I registered the domain with PowWeb and have been told my address by more than one person who got the information through the contact info. Can anyone here help me change it, please?

Can anyone here help me change it, please? It's a legal requirement and a condition of owning a domain name that the details are fully correct and up-to-date. The best advice I can give on this is to transfer to another registrar such as godaddy.com or registerfly.com that offer the anonomizer service. There have been debates on here about the security of allowing them to change details to their names, but as some TLD's are now offering the service rather than resellers it's probably OK.
