Oh yes indeed. I've been a powweb subscriber for a couple years now. I've been uploading things pretty much daily since that setup date.

Thats strange, well right now you wont be able to do much because of the Holiday in the states, support are off, but will be back Tuesday, you should send a support ticket now.

very strange! you have to wait till PW is open again and call in.. Keef.net is offline but keef.org is online - is that your site too?

Yeah, but that one's on a different cluster. I have no idea what's causing all the ruckus. I'm very frustrated, both with Powweb's general downtime and problems, and with this most current incarnation. Very frustrating.

Could you have fallen foul of the TOS? I can't see either the archive version or the .org version as it is filtered out here by Websense - in the "tasteless" category. This suggests that it is at least possible the site was suspended for some reason.

As already asked, can you log in and use FTP?

Also, look OPS to see if there is an e-mail from support explaining what is happening.

Well, Powweb got back to me this morning:

There appears to be permission problem on the root directory. I have that fixed so your website should be working now.

So, that's good. Still a frustrating problem that I wish hadn't happened, but they were able to clear it up without any loss of data. I have no idea why there was a permission problem in the first place.

It happens at random. I've seen it before on my sites, though not with this symptom.
