Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to powweb and web administration... In trying to explore what different powweb tools are about, I've deliberately and accidentally created several blogs and ecommerce tools that uses sql databases. now I'm at the limit of free databases and cannot create new db without incurring extra charges.
Can someone tell me how to delete these empty databases so I can re-use the db slots?
Thanks!
Robert

You can email support@powweb.com requesting the databases be deactivated. Include the answer to your selected security question.

Can someone tell me how to delete these empty databases so I can re-use the db slots? No need to drop a database, just reuse them. In phpmyadmin, select all tables and drop them. Go to OPS > package > MySql if you wish to rename a database for some new duty, and manage database usernames there too.

Thanks Tbonekkt and RTH10260 for your reply.
Because I'm a newbie, a quick follow up question:
Will deleting from phpmyadmin also clear the way for the POWWEB installer to reinstall a new blog without me having to open the hood (figuratively speaking)?
Thanks,
Robert

As you have noticed roberthu the instant installers create their own database/s. You will need staff to delete some old ones to free up room before you can use the instant installers again. Shoot support an email with your domain name and the names of the databases you want deleted.
