Million Dollar Twins

My twin and I started telling more people about our personal website a few days ago. Its a journal documenting our progress towards our goals in life.

The traffic has increased dramatically just through word of mouth in a few days. I would like to know how to further promote it. Any suggestion on how to advertise the site? Do I just shamelessly post the link everywhere and tell all my co-workers about it (We work at a big corporation with over 100k employees)? We also do not have a lot of experience in webdesign, so any help, suggestion, review, comments are welcomed.

It is good that you have goals, and I wish you the best of luck. As for the site, yes it is a forum, and no it isn't fancy nor is it a new idea. Those are 3 strikes against you. Unless you have some advertising bucks, and find a way to look less desperate, I fell you will fall short of your goal. As for shameless linking, since your site really has no public image, other than you desperate for money, I would say go ahead and link all that you can. If you were running a reputable business then I would change my tune. One litle thing I would change is you first page is a little too crowded. Add some colors, and some pictures, and you will have more success.
