same problem, does anyone know when it might be back up, staff maybe? I would move it to another databse but I can't even get into phpmyadmin to do so...

Mysql13 was down indeed and has been quite a lot, yesterday too. Unacceptable.
On the phpmyadmin, I got an error #2003.

Seems like it just went back up. Let's hope the problems are over.

Okay, mysql servers seem to be dropping randomly. Powweb, what is going on?
(does that famous 99% uptime include mysql servers as well? :))

just read the blurb. 99.9% is indeed the quoted figure, but this is across the network so individual servers can be down and the uptime doesnt suffer.

I don't know how many servers they have in total, but if .1% of the time they are ALL down, it is not actually that impressive a claim!

i'm also on mysql13 and i've been getting all these messages from vbulletin, not just today, but all the time in the last few weeks. my forum isn't a particularly busy one. at most there may be 10 users online at the same time. Whats going on powweb!?!?!?!? :confused:

There was a user taking up too many connections to the database on mysql13. He's been disabled so performance should increase shortly.
