this is one of my content pages for my main site. I am still working on the rest but I want to see what people think of this particular page.
http://www.completeonlinepoker.com/pokercharms.html
I hope to add a lucky story section to it later and a charm of the month ect.

get rid of the BOLD in the font in some areas... looks nasty
Also, most important... get your table border to 0 cause its showing in the top and looks like crap
The rest is nice... I like it, perhaps blending the colors a little could be useful so that they dont contrast too much
BTW if you could repay the favor my site is www.kivote.com thanks!!

Beware when making sites that have questionable subject matter such as adult language or contents, nude photos, gambling or even horrific images. If you plan to include affiliate links for additional income, the affiliates may disapprove your site for such contents. I know that some of my affiliates do not allow any contents or links to sites with contents that they deem inappropriate for general audiences.
The web page/site's purpose at this time appears to be for any poker player to share stories. That seems harmless enough. My husband's family is Catholic and they love to gamble. I haven't seen many with lucky charms, but my husband can bluff and steal pots. No one can read him. I watch poker on TV and I have seen Chris Bigler's little pyramid charm, Peter Facinelli's lucky frog and others with various charms. I thought I was superstitious!
The web page design is unbalanced. The contents should fill the page from left to right and top to bottom like a newpaper or magazine page. The boxes would look better if they were the same height when appearing side by side. The header banner should appear at the top with no space above it. Paragraphs of text should align to the left. You may need to use a smaller font size to keep the page from scrolling down too much. Do not use too many different colors or font sizes.
You may want to consider making a text link in the paragraph ARE YOU A LUCKY POKER PLAYER? that links to the form Send Us Your Lucky Charm. You can conserve space on the page by putting the form in a new page. Make the link open in a new window, but you don't need to use Javascript to do that.
Daniel Negreanu is one of my favorite players to watch. He does things like I do - guess what the other players are holding, say it to them and see how they react, then decide what to do. That annoys players, but helps you. :D
I clicked the link at the bottom of the page and saw that there is an entire website about poker. There are spelling and other errors there. The color scheme does not match the page I was reviewing. Good luck competing with so many other poker sites. They send email or advertise on television. You should try the viral marketing method - recommend this site to a friend.
