Fuzzy Clip Art Icons

I manipulated Clip Art icons for my site (just chaged the colors) and saved them in MS Word. I then sent them to the person working on my site and they are all fuzzy on the site...www.villavantage.com. I assume I need to save them as .jpeg or .bmp and send them to the site developer for them to look crisp. Is this right? If so, how do I convert them to .jpeg or .bmp??

You're going to want to manipulate/save/export your images with the proper program. I recommend any of the following in no particular order:

Adobe Photoshop
Macromedia Fireworks
Paint Shop Pro

Looks like you didn't specify enough colors. Clipart are usually .gif files. Don't use MS Word, as Autoload suggested use a proper imaging program to open edit and save. Try one of these free programs http://www.gimp.org/ or http://www.irfanview.com/

I use GIMP; it's a really powerful program. It's hard to learn at first, though; I recommend reading through Grokking the GIMP (http://gimp-savvy.com/BOOK/); it's a free book online.
