Both sites are pretty slick-looking! I would have left slightly less dead space either side of the contents of kamuivii, I like the idea and it probably looks great in a smaller resolution. If you are using percentages for the way it fits, I would increase the overall width to 90% - if you are not, there isn't much you can do about it without losing the side space in smaller resolutions - on a 19" monitor it just seems a little pinched given the available space around it. Apart from that, it's very good-looking.
On jmvii, I don't know why but I have the feeling that it would have more impact if the red splodges amongst the smoke were left out of the pages subsequent to the homepage, so there was just smoke in the background and the really bright red in the foreground, exactly as it appears on the homepage itself. Just my opinion, anyway.
The first time I loaded this site it went quite fast but was much slower the second time around, surprisingly! I have a heck of a lot of bandwidth, according to B&T's checker, so it probably wasn't at this end but I see you mention possible loading problems at this stage so you don't need me to mention it and I wouldn't have done if it weren't for my surprise that it loaded so quickly first time round...
As you go from the homepage to the next page, a strange set of what looks like overlapping white rectangles appears temporarily - don't know what could be the cause of that, it doesn't look intentional. Anyway, they soon disappear.
Not sure I am mad about the message of preferring to be feared than loved - there are enough misguided messages out there causing people to plunge into a life of misery without someone of your obvious talents adding to them by spreading them further, in my opinion, but then that's all it is, an opinion!

overall nice sites. my review for the second one would follow along the lines of linnet's review. I don't have any qualms about the first site at all. Very well done first site. The red in the second comes out too sharply and is too bright for my personal eye comfort.

The websites are a whole different world from mine, so no comments on the content.
I do like the colors and layout.. I even enjoyed one of the videos "Final Fantasy X - Limp Bizkit - Rollin".
too cool.

i like them, the colours dont seem all that bad. I like how you did the framing thing, very in-genuis and laid out nicely
