View Full Version : Need help creating a flash intro page
I have a MPEG (audio and video) file that I need to convert into a Flash intro page. The problem is that I do not have any idea how to do this. Is there anyone here that can help me with this? Point me to a step-by-step guide or something?
Thanks in advance!

I know...I don't like them either. But the guy that I am making a site for really wants one.

Do you have Macromedia Flash? It's quite easy to import mpg then save as a swf file. Give it a go then we'll implement it.
p.s. nice first article stevel

I don't have any Macromedia tools. I'll try to download the trial and figure out how to import and save like you said.
I suggest you have your client read the things I pointed to earlier. He may change his mind. Ask him how many of the big web stores he uses have flash intro pages....
I had a link to the first article in my sig for a while earlier this year.

I threw some stuff together and shoved up up on his site. Thanks though. I might get in touch with you concerning some graphics work I need, though.
