flash text scroll

lo could anyone tell me if you can make a text scroller using singleline and static text?

ive been looking at a few tutorials but when i use dynamic text and multiline it makes my writing look weird and over spaced and doesnt fit on the page.

im wanting to use the up and down arrow to scroll that text becuase there is more paragraphs to it than on there

www.flashkit.com is a good resource for Flash. Depending on your version, you should be able to actually pull a text scroller out of there component library. However, before you rework your movie, you can try to fix your spacing problem. This problem is more than likely due to embedding the font. If you do not specifically embed a font or use html text Flash will set your font as a system font. However, look into flashkit if you have not already, the site is slower, but it is a great resource.
