Specific or general problems?

My client told me that a few things are going a little strange on the cart.

The Paypal is not operating correctly by any means.

The Taxes and shipping are not transferring over to Paypal, and now some of the orders themselves are not, only the money to be exchanged is going.

I have 2.2 installed and the .0981 of the Paypal IPN installed, but I have no idea how to go about upgrading the IPN to what they now offer with the WWP?? I believe that is it.

Where do I start with the errors we are having and how do I update the IPN if needed?
I dont want to have to redo everything, as a lot of custom changes were made to several parts of the store.

Is this something related specifically to the old Paypal IPN that would be resolved with an upgrade, or is this all something related to the cart itself?

Well, I think a few things were figured out.

Settings, a LOT of settings, have been changed over at Paypal.

Now, the question is, what do I need to make sure the IPN settings are set to AT Paypal for the info to still be correct?

The settings that are there were for the older setup on the Powweb site.

for a domain named example.com
