Discount Code option for Osc?

I'm looking for a simple Discount option that will allow a registered user to enter a discount code and receive the specified discount. For instance, I may offer a discount to a club as a special, but other customers would not receive the discount.

I looked at the Discount Class & Gift Cert contribution, but it scares me. I finally got things working and I don't want to mess it up.

Yeah, that Credit Class and Gift Voucher contribution is complicated. It also has some minor bugs. I've installed it but I don't know of an alternative that's easier.

Hi Steve,

I was sucessfull in installing V. 5.13 of CCGV. The only bug that is an issue at the moment is when I try and redeem a coupon. In order for OSC to recognize the coupon, I need to enter the code and click REDEEM 2 times. If I only do it once, I get the message saying the coupon was redeemed, but it does not show up in the shopping cart list or on the invoice.

Any suggestions on fixing this?

I got it worked out. Coding conflicts due that due to the various payment options that each sight can be using.
