ftp second user setup

hi. i would like to set up a limited access ftp account for users to upload pics. i know you do it through OPS, but i havent been able to get it to work. can some one give me some guidance?

When you create the FTP user it's best to wait 20mins then verify to see if its working. If you want to place them in particular folder when they log in you have to create the folder then edit the path for the FTP user to it. Be very careful who you give access to. It's possible to wipe out your entire site with a script.

in OPS ... FTP tab create the user. Then you will have a new user box with that username. Then add htdocs/username to the server path and hit save.

When they login with FTP they will only see what is in that folder.

It takes a few minutes for the new user to become active.
