Mail email addresses had been working fine until either today or last night. AI know for sure my email addresses were working fine yesterday afternoon around 5 (EDT) because I checked my emails without any problems.

When I try to check my emails in Outlook Express right now here is the message I get:

"Échec de la connexion au serveur. Compte : 'pop.anhs.qc.ca', Serveur : 'pop.anhs.qc.ca', Protocole : POP3, Port : 110, Sécurisé (SSL) : Non, Erreur de socket : 10061, Numéro d'erreur : 0x800CCC0E"

Ok...this is french but most of you who understand the concept of Outlook and the way it works will probably get the jist of it anyways.

The email addresses that are not working for me right now are the following:
president@anhs.qc.ca
fhlll@anhs.qc.ca
and there might be another one that's not working but not sure since I'm not the one who uses it: contrats@anhs.qc.ca

I don't know if there is any other way to check if they work somehow. I have tried accessin these email accounts through webmail and I didn't have any problems.

Notice before anyone asks me: No I haven't changed any of my settings in Outlook since yesterday or 2 days ago so that CANNOT be the problem. I never change my settings unless I needed to after reading the Annoucements on this board.

Thanks for the help or the info on this.

By the way, I'm a Neptune resident if that may help somehow...

go into the OE settings:

change pop.yourdomain.com tomail.yourdomain.com

I'm sorry but for email it works like this:

Incoming email (POP3)
pop.anhs.qc.ca

Outgoing mail (SMTP)
mail.anhs.qc.ca

If those settings are incorrect well tell me and tell me what to change them to because these settings have been working since I got my hosting with Powweb...and I doubt it should be setup another way than what I just showed you...

Hi Steff,

Check the announcement. It's telling us to use mail.domain.com for both pop and smtp now.
