:( 7/8 ( 7:48 am local Hawaii )

My mail is not coming in as well..
I am a new customer and just wondering if this mail deal is an on-going issue, as this is site and mail is for my business and really can not afford to have my mail down for long periods of time, if down at all !!

thanks for any input from other members

No problems w/ mail here. What is your domain name?

Do you have both your POP3 and SMTP servers set to 'mail.yourdomain.com' (where youdomain.com is your domain)?

Hi 8:52am (local Hawaii)
WorldTradeUnltd.com
got my forwarding for:
'A':
StewartGiesen@WorldTradeUnltd.com
&
"B":
TropicalFragrances@WorldTradeUnltd.com
on to
Stewart@winning.com
( which I just tried and is working just fine, thank god!:) )
which, in turn, is on to my isp
-
Thanks for checking on things for me.
PS These emails 'A' & 'B' were working great the other day!!

Everything was set up correctly and working..
I did nothing in regards to changing any prefs..
Just tried them this morning, and nothing came into me at my isp..
I had entered one at my web site:
http://surf.to/TropicalFragrances and the other day it worked fine.. then, this morning nothing??
anyway it is beyond my control ( I think ) & reported to admin..:)

No offense but does that mean that within your e-mail client (Outlook Express, Outlook, Eudora, etc), your POP3 server (incoming) and SMTP server (outgoing) are both set to mail.worldtradeunltd.com?

In older versions of PowWeb's welcome mail, the POP3 server was specified to be 'pop.domainname.tld' (where domainname was the hosted domain and 'tld' was the top-level domain, like com, org or net)

If your POP3 server is still to 'pop.domainname.tld', you may experience problems receiving mail -- and that problem occurence may increase over time (guess on my part).

Robert

Oops - strike this message then. If you client is set up with both as 'mail.domain.tld' and all is working then I'll shut up :)

:) No problem. I'm just an average Joe here trying to toss out ideas.

I'm thinking that this is related to the account creation problem that a small percentage of users are running into. PowWeb's developer's are up to their eyebrows in code trying to get that resolved, so maybe it will also impact the problem you're experiencing.

Just so you know that you are not alone (in more ways than one), my incoming (POP) mail doesn't seem to be working either.

I am on Orion (mail2 I believe) and yes I have everything set to mail.domain.net etc etc...

I sent out an email to myself using Powweb SMTP server and also one using my ISP SMTP... and neither one has shown up as of yet. They were sent out about an hour or so ago.

Must be a catch in their gitalong this morning.... ;)

addendum:
Just checked my other domain "ourcresteds.com" and it doesn't seem to be receiving any mail either.

Also:
Just to be sure, I went in through Webmail and there are no messages showing.

I seem to be able to sometimes get mail today and sometimes not. I changed my client connections this morning to use mail.mydomain.com and got a bunch of mail. Later I tried sending mail to my address and I didn't get it. I tried again, and I got one message. I tried 2 more and haven't received those.

Update:

Of the 3 emails that I've sent to my domain address (from 3 different SMTP systems), I finally received 1 of them.

So there is hope yet :)

Hey, at least I'm not getting spam... so there is at least one good point to all of this.
