Getting Paid

never mind, looks like i have 3 more days to wait until the last site has cleared.

So I finally accumulated $260 in commissions, it's been at least a month since my last client signed up, so how do I get paid? I don't see anything once I log in that prompts a payment to be sent?

PowWeb should send a check to you via snail mail. Login to your affiliate program and see what information you have there. Didn't you fill out that tax form where PowWeb has to report your earnings to Uncle Sam? That must be done for US affiliates before you can get paid.

Er, tax form? nope didn't see that, just logged in and don't see anything, just a spot for a tax ID which I don't have. I don't think i needed a registered company to make refrences though.

If you are not a business, you need to report your social security number in place of your EIN number. I think it is form w-9 www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf that you need. I know I did this last year and got PowWeb checks after they received it.

Congratultions on exceeding the $200 threshold! Keep in mind that we run our invoice reports on the 1st. Once we see that you have over $200 in Approved commissions (commissions over 37 days old), we will send you the W8/W9 request. Once it is received, your payment will be sent!
