Streaming Webcam Video

Does anybody know how to stream live video on a website using a webcam? I got a webcam and I want to put it in front of the TV so I can watch tv on my computer while im at work.

your web cam should have come with software that allows you to see the cam in operation (well mine did) and all i do is run the software , point the cam at the tv ,dog., girl next door, what ever and its working

Does your work allow you to visit websites that play streaming video? I have a client who works for a place that no longer allows him to visit other websites, check email or do much of anything besides viewing their own company email.
