Just was looking at the package choices in OPS for renewing (need to by Feb 1).

Does anyone understand the differences?

I'm on the yearly auto renew and was thinking about going ahead with the BiYearly to get the extra 14 months but if you look at the following choices, no matter which BiYearly package, they are all 730 days (exactly two years).

PowWeb Quarterly $23.31 (90 days)
PowWeb Yearly (Promo 2 Months Free) $93.24 (365 days)
PowWeb BiYearly (Promo 4 Months Free) $186.48 (730 days)
PowWeb Yearly (Promo 6 Months Free) $93.24 (365 days)
PowWeb BiYearly (Promo 14 Months Free) $186.48 (730 days)
PowWeb BiYearly (Promo 6 Months Free) $186.48 (730 days)
PowWeb BiYearly (Promo 24 Months Free) $186.48 (730 days)
PowWeb Yearly (Promo Free Domain) $93.24 (365 days)
PowWeb BiYearly (Promo Free Domain) $186.48 (730 days)
PowWeb Yearly $93.24 (365 days)
PowWeb Bi-Yearly $186.48 (730 days)

I was going to assume if I selected "PowWeb BiYearly (Promo 14 Months Free) $186.48 (730 days)" that I would actually get 1,155 days but when I choose that option, I get a confirm dialog that says I'm agreeing to renew for 730 days.

Choose the "PowWeb Bi-Yearly $186.48 (730 days)" option. The others aren't supposed to be active and you shouldn't see them. Developers will be fixing that tonight.

So what you're saying is that none of the promotions are available to my account? Just the straight 2 years/$186.48?

I'm sure a staffer may make another statement...but those are usually introductory offers only available for new members.

I could see that if those were just advertised on the website somewhere. But those were the options listed in the OPS control panel (under package renewal) which only an existing customer would have.

As Tom stated, developers will be fixing that.

As Tom stated, developers will be fixing that.

They removed all those options within 24 hours of my post.

But I had already changed my plan to the "PowWeb BiYearly (Promo 14 Months Free) $186.48 (730 days)" before posting the message and my OPS panel still shows "PowWeb BiYearly (Promo 14 Months Free}" as the Plan Type. No mention of cost or number of days.

Interestingly, there were similar promotional offers listed when I renewed my other package last Nov/Dec. so this isn't a "new" problem. Unfortunately for me, at that time, I thought I had to click the "renew now" button to start a renewal process (during which I would select a term) when in fact, clicking "renew now" locks you into whatever was your previously selected plan type without any further options.

I guess we'll see what happens, I have the print screen of my OPS panel, and a print out of this thread where PowWeb is acknowledging they were making those offers in OPS to existing customers. IMHO, they should honor it.

I think you should settle this immediately with billing@powweb.com
