should i be worried?

hi,
i am just starting out here. i ftp'd my pages in this morning, about 2 hours ago, and when i go to my page it still says under construction. should i be worried that i did something wrong or is this all cool and it must takes time?

i'm just a bit worried is all.

What you should do is use your FTP program to look at the directories and files on your site. Once you are there, look to see if you have done these things:

-All of your public html files are uploaded into the htdocs directory?

-Did you upload an index.htm or index.html page?

-Did you delete or overwrite the default index.html page provided by Powweb?

-Have you cleared your own computer's cache so that you are seeing a "fresh" view of your own site?

-If you have done all of the above, then it is likely that your ISP has cached a copy of that original default index.html page and you will have to wait for them to refresh their caches in order to see the new index.html page. In my experience that can take hours, or even a day or two.
