Hi All
I haven't been at this too long and havn't written any original code yet, but I have been doing my editing of PHP in homesite and have been pleased. I know homesite has had no native support for PHP at this point, just a function plug that replaces the coldfusion functions or merges with them. I had been looking for a spacificly "PHP editor" and every place I looked, recomended a good text editor.
Well one of our neighbors here at POWWeb sent me an email for a free windows based PHP editor. It claims that you can write code and can also preview your pages. This sounds great, and I will give IT a whirl. I was wondering If anybody else has tried IT, or had any good tips?
You can find the app "CodePHP" at http://www.codephp.com/
I cant say I recomend this app yet, but look forward to checking it out. I don't know the folks over there, and would encourage them to chime in over here too ;} The view while editing feature looks promising
Basicly I started this thread to focus just on the editing environment, and hope others will join in with their tips and favorites.
