My computer is setup to hibernate, but I keep getting an error message that the "T BT Port (Com 7) is preventing the computer from going into hiberntion. It suggests that the device driver may need to be reset. Help !!!
Do you use Bluetooth on that computer? That looks like the port for it. If you don't use Bluetooth you could uninstall the driver through Device Manager. If you do use it you may need to uninstall/reinstall the driver.
Good luck,
Kevin

I agree with this advice, if you installed a driver. You can connect to your PC and share your Internet connection with no additional software added to your PC or Palm using a Bluetooth USB Adapter. You may need to use another USB adapter or port.

I'm only so "smart" because I recently went through uninstalling/reinstalling/re-reinstalling Bluetooth drivers on my new computer. It seems Toshiba ships some computers (at least notebooks) with Bluetooth hardware installed and some without. But it's not necessarily clear up front which is which. However, they pre-install the Bluetooth drivers and other supporting software in ALL of them. After a very nice conversation with Toshiba support, I got it all straightened out (mine didn't have the hardware) and my Motorola Razr communicates very nicely with my computer through a 3rd party USB Bluetooth "dongle" and driver.
