Deleting POP3 User

I am trying to delete a pop3 user but I don't get any option to do that. I can delete SMTP user but I can't delete POP3 users....why not? I can ONLY disactive the POP3 User but I WANT TO DELETE!!! How do I do that ? Any help ?

Also I didn't get success to send n receive from any of those accounts so far :( When I send a mail, it takes a long to and when I check my other mail box, I found nothing. If I try to send mail to the account it just bounce back. WHY ???

Please help me as soon as it's possible _____

You can delete POP3 users...you just can't delete the main POP3 account that is the catch-all account.

All others, besides the catch-all, you can delete.

I belive once you deactivate the pop user you can go back in & the delete or reactavate option will show.

I also want to know the answer th this question.We want to DELETE THE POP user.Not deactivate or activate em.When you deactivate them.Their on standby waiting ti get reactivated with the username occupied.Can someone answer this question.

With the addition of this thread.I see that deleting pop3 accounts is a little problem..This is the 3rd thread I've seen stating this issue..And we still don't have a answer.....

Terrell, Unless your having a special problem with your pop mail, I just go to the users tab in ops deactivate the user & just go back 5 mins later & click on delete & he's gone. It may be some other problem. Sorry I can't help you any further with this.

Thanks Metro for the cue.With that,I did a lil browsing around the ops and deleted all the users

Your idea worked but there is still one more additional account which seems to be ?? !! ?? . Can't delete it yet ... funny !

Can't help you there Mark... Thats an odd pop name for sure.

One thing I can tell you is that if you deactivate a pop user in the users tab & then reactivate them, You also need to go back to the pop tab and on the right side of the screen it will be asking if you want to activate mail again for that user. Just F.Y.I

You said theirs ONE more you cannot delete.You know theirs a master user for pop3 that you cannot delete that excepts all entries.Is that the one and only that you cnnot delete or what...

No I am not trying to delete Master Account. If you think that's what I was trying then you got me wrong. I am trying to delete an additional account but after 3/4 days, it still looks like disactive but not deleted. Somehow I was able to delete one additional account but I have no idea how. Well, guess I asnwered your question. This is a additional account that I am trying to delete which is still disactive right now............(I just checked in the ops!)
