I'm trying to restore a database but it keeps timing out on me. I tried using programs but none of them are able to connect to the database for some reason even though my info is 100% correct. I have ABSOLUTELY no idea how to use scrips, can anyone help me, or teach VERY CAREFULLY how to install them?

You can try MiniSQLDump. (It does both restoration and dump).

Once you install extratools.php (installer for my scripts), you just need to click the link.
