I am in the process of making Windows 2000 Professional boot disks via www.bootdisk.com. It calls for 4 1.44MB floppies. WinXP on this computer doesn't know what to use to open the img files to create each of the disks. What do I use?

You also need to download the makebt32.exe file. Run the exe file and follow the on screen instructions. I'm a systems admin during the day ;)

Then I just double-click on the makebt32.exe?

download all the zip file and extract them to the same folder, also place the exe file within the same folder.

From bootdisk.com
The W2K Pro disks are zipped images from the MS CD. Best bet is to download them, upzip them to a new folder where you also put makeboot.exe and makebt32.exe into and then run one of the makeboot utils depending on if you're in dos or windows to create the diskset.

OK. I made the disks and tried to install Win2K Professional. It keeps saying "unable to copy file from source CD". This may not work.
