I am running Windows XP. I received a security update and it was installed aitomaticalily. After the install my font sizes went very small and the desktop icons are smaller. How can I get these items back to what they were? Any help would be appreciated.

Installing the latest security update didn't change my settings.

Never-the-less, it could have. It depends on what was changed, but if you right-click when viewing the desktop and go to properties, there are a number of settings that could have changed. Check the screen resolution first, as this could change the icon and text size. There is another setting to change the font size on the properties >>appearance tab.

resolution ...already mentioned, appearence tab....already mentioned.....now font size which is under the display properties the advanced tab and then the general tab, you'll see there as well.
