pointer domain

I just ordered a new hosting package and added a pointer domain to it. May I know how long it takes for a pointer domain to work ? eg http://www.car-techie.com

It takes 2-3 days for the DNS settings to spread around the net. This isn't a Powweb restriction or delay, just one of the Internet itself.

You also need to own the domain and change the nameservers - I hope you've done that as well, the delay is from the time you've changed the nameservers.

www.car-techie.com is already resolving (at least for my ISP). :)
