I've hear about DVD/CD drives featuring "Lightscribe" direct disk labeling. Burning an image on the label side of a disk sounds really cool. Does anyone know anything about this technology or the media it uses?

For personal use I feel this is a waste of time. Just my opinion, but why spend the time to make a oooooo-ahhhhhhhh label on a CD/DVD when a sharpie fixes me up in 2 seconds. Again.. just my opinion.

My business requires me to I spend time making archive copies of "albums" that are not available on CD. I was interested in the technology to give the CD's a professional look. For my personal CD's the sharpie is the way to go. This sounds promising from a business stand point.

eh.. 11 to 28 minutes to make a lightscribe label... Time is money.. I would still go adhesive labels.
